Prague residents will be able in the week from 25 31 December Free sports in dozens of venues around the capital.
"It is customary to give the people of Prague at the end of a small gift. I think that this project is the perfect reward for them. In recent years, a great interest in sports, so we tried to extend their range to choose really everyone, "explains Luke Manhart, Councillor, City of Prague. The result is a series of newly involved in sports that everyone can visit for free.
"I am convinced that the people of Prague have a sporting spirit and their enthusiasm can be another argument why the Prague had become the European capital of sport," believes Manhart. Petr Briza, Prague councilor and chairman of the Commission for sport and physical education, also comes with another argument: "The week of free sports is a great opportunity to try different sports and how we need to find a new leisure time. Individual sports will be involved from Wednesday 25th Tuesday, the 31st of December to December 2013. For certain sports because of their capacity required by phone or online bookings. Free access is also not always the whole of their Christmas opening hours, but only on selected days and hours.
