The complete music program of this year's 50th anniversary is announced by the musical-plum festival Vizovické Trnkobraní, which takes place on Friday and Saturday 18th and 19th August in the premises of liqueur Rudolf Jelínek in Vizovice near Zlín. This year's jubilee festival will be celebrated together with the main interpreter, the band Elán.
The Slovak Stallion Elán is this year's jubilee fifty years on stage and Trnkobraní chose to be a completely exclusive festival stop for its summer performances. Visitors can also enjoy the singers of Tomáš Klus and Michal Hrůza, singers Katarína Knechtová and Lenny, bands No Name, Mandrage, Three sisters, Mňága and Žďorp and other groups and artists.
The legendary Elán group will present visitors to Trnkobraní in a two-hour Saturday performance with a large LED projection and light show, all of which will serve as a backdrop for the band's megahit series. And why did the organizers of Trnkobraní decide to reach for this year's legendary Slovak rockers?
"The band Elán has a similar history and a musical story like the Vizkovice Trnkobraní festival, which has been going on for fifty years on the borders of Moravia and Slovakia, has experienced a number of peaks and falls in the past and has managed to overcome many peripetes," says organizer Michal Šesták. "The fans have filled hundreds of halls and stadiums of former Czechoslovakia in their history, at the same time they were threatened by an unexpected end of their career and will start their fiftieth musical season at the time of this year's Trnkobraní, which is more than symbolic for celebrations of the fifty Trnkobraní," adds Šesták.
Trnkobraní will also perform besides other bands such as Slza , Gazdina Rob, Citron, Zoči Voči, Thom Artway or O5 and Radeček, including local Fleret and Kosov .
He is also enjoying the performance of "Tears" at Trnkobraní. "The concert at Trnkobraní will actually be a meeting with a lot of friends - our listeners," the members of the band agree. And what is the band's relationship to Vizovice spirits, has any of the local production been tasting? "I gave my pear, I love it, it was good!" Laughs Jozo Rage.
To miss Trnkobraní this year, of course, the popular contest for eating plum dumplings will not be open to the public, this year will take place on Saturday at 13.15 pm, as well as the winners of the traditional Jelinek basket.
This year's organizers also gave the opportunity to young beginning bands. In the Zahraj koncert with the band at Trnkobraní , one of the registered groups can win the opportunity to appear in the musical part of the main program Trnkobraní.
Visitors can also enjoy an accompanying program including film screenings , theater performances, dance performances of folk ensembles and children's activities .
As a festival gift for visitors to the festival, the organizers have prepared, besides a traditional tent town with free camping, a VIP VIP camp, which will be appreciated especially by those who demand a premium fee for the festival accommodation services. The VIP camp will be a secure, fenced, guarded and illuminated area with a 24-hour reception desk and safe deposit box, telephone recharging options, refreshments, hot water showers, washrooms and sanitary facilities with regular cleaning service.
