At the outdoor exhibition called Gallery diversity Podyjí National Park Administration and the Ministry of Environment presented the variety of species in this protected area they live. The exhibition premiered in the fall of 2012 in Prague and consequently many repeats in different places of the Czech Republic. Now they will be able to view and Sumava residents and visitors.
"The character of the National Park Podyjí is given bewitching contrast distinct and unique landscape of river canyon, wooded impenetrable wilderness and cultural landscape of gentle warm lowlands and peneplain Dyjskosvrateckého valley. The diverse character of the local landscape is reflected in the significant species diversity of animal and plant species. I am glad that here in the Šumava National Park, to which I have formed a strong bond can imagine, at least for large-scale photographs Dyje nature. With some exaggeration, sometimes saying that Šumava is our bigger sister, but in our country it is equally natural attractions, "says the director of the National Park Podyjí Tomas Rothröckl.
"Both parks as Sumava, and Podyji, both this year celebrates its quarter century of existence. Both have the unquestionable importance in Central Europe and tourists have much to offer. Podyjí I personally visited several times and I'm going back there. I so recommend his visit to everyone else, and we are honored and pleased to also have with us show our little sister, "a new exhibition director of the National Park Sumava Pavel Thin.
Exhibition Gallery diversity Podyjí runs at the Visitor Centre Kvilda whole summer season, until 30 September.
